Brief

To build a jetty and linked pontoon as specified by the client to enable children to carry out pond dipping activities as part of the Greenwich Ecology Park. 

Solution

An aluminium framed jetty with Scandinavian pine decking and anti-slip inserts connected to a lower aluminium framed pontoon with a custom-built access ramp.  

Challenges

The access to the site was via a building, meaning the structures needed to be pre-fabricated in sections, small enough to fit through the building before installation.
